This July I will be participating in a beauty pageant, competing for the title of Miss CONBUSAC 2009, that will be held in Seattle. I am Miss Bohol Association of Texas, Inc., but my parents are a part of Sandugo and Bicol Association, and I have friends in several other local filipino organizations.
The Miss CONBUSAC (Confederation of Boholanos in the United States and Canada) competition is also a fundraiser to help filipinos living in the Philippine Province of Bohol, so a large portion of the sale of souvenier ads goes to helping fellow kababayan in the Philippines.
